Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Program Officer, Reconciliation. This is a full-time, temporary position (12 months) with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Program Director, Reconciliation in forecasting, communicating, and operationalizing the reconciliation objectives and commitments of the Foundation.
  • Coordinate end-to-end administration of the funding process for the reconciliation focus area, including receiving, reviewing, and following up on granting applications.
  • Interact with community partners with integrity as a representative of the Foundation, its values, and its commitment to reconciliation.

Requirements

  • Functional bilingualism with excellent oral and written skills in either English or French.
  • Experience with and understanding of non-profit organizations and community-led initiatives.
  • 3-4 years' experience in program support and/or administration.
  • Post-Secondary degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of Indigenous frameworks and practices.
  • Availability and willingness to travel.

  • Experience with monitoring, evaluation, and learning frameworks and processes.
