As a Compliance Officer Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring security transactions and ensuring compliance with applicable policies, industry rules, and regulations. This is a permanent contract position offering a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in trade surveillance, general compliance, and/or financial services, with a strong understanding of applicable regulations relating to Banking, Broker-Dealer, and Futures Commission Merchant activity. You will also possess strong interpersonal, written/verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
In this role, you will participate in the development, testing, and implementation of new surveillance scenarios and minimum standards, review trade surveillance alerts, and contribute to the preparation of management metrics and reports.
