Job Title: Restaurant General Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our Taco Time location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct performance reviews to evaluate team members' progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Cost products and services effectively to maximize profitability and minimize waste.
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations to maintain a safe and responsible work environment.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking, minimizing losses and ensuring adequate supplies.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to protect employees and customers from harm.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure competitive pricing and high-quality products.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to resolve issues and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to create a positive dining experience and foster loyalty.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to optimize efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Supervision:
  • Supervise 3-4 team members to ensure they have the necessary tools, training, and support to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements:

To succeed as a Restaurant General Manager at Taco Time, you must possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • English language proficiency.
Salary:

$45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
