Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen Fernie. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Address Customer Complaints: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other relevant data.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- Language: English.
- Work Setting: Food service establishment, restaurant.
- Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Team Player: Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- Support for Youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Support for Indigenous People: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
