Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Hire and Manage Staff: Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that they are properly trained and equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Work Setting: Cafeteria, food service establishment, coffee shop, on-site customer service.
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check, basic security clearance.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility.
This is a permanent, full-time position, working 35 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
