About the Role

Fernie Pizza & Pasta is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet our high standards of service.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, ensuring that food is prepared and presented to the highest quality.
  • Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies to minimize waste and optimize costs.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, sales, and repairs to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to management on key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with our delivery team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of food to our customers.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality.
  • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
