Food Service Manager

Eldho's Your Independent Grocer is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate ordering and inventory management.
- Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing insights for budgeting and cost control.
- Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, highlighting areas for improvement and suggesting solutions.
- 1-2 years of experience in food service management or a related field.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, with the ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
