Food Service Manager

Eldho's Your Independent Grocer is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Hire food service staff
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Prepare budget and cost estimates
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
- Establish work schedules
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Physical demands include standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking
