Leading Clinical Oncology Research Fellow

The Division of Medical Oncology at the University of Calgary is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join their team based at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre/Arthur JE Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre. This combined medical oncology and research fellow position offers a unique opportunity to work with world-renowned programs in real-world outcomes cancer research and precision oncology research.
Job Description- This full-time funded fellowship position may be 1-2 years, with a clinical focus on genitourinary cancers and research focus on undertaking real-world evidence projects utilizing the wealth of databases housed at the centre.
- You will have the opportunity to be exposed to trial protocol development and possible involvement in late-phase clinical trials under the supervision of Dr. Steven Yip.
The ideal candidate has completed clinical training in medical oncology (preferable within 5 years) and has clear research aims that they want to further develop with the resources available in Calgary.
What We Offer- A competitive salary: $85,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on experience.
