The University of Calgary, a leading research institution, seeks a highly skilled Clinical Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join its esteemed team in the Division of Medical Oncology.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

We are recruiting one full-time medical oncology clinical and research fellow to work under the supervision of Dr. Steven Yip at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre/Arthur JE Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre.

The selected candidate will have the opportunity to participate in real-world outcomes cancer research and precision oncology research within the Oncology Outcomes (O2) and Precision Oncology and Experimental Therapeutics (POET) programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake real-world evidence projects utilizing databases housed at the centre.
  • Develop trial protocol and participate in late-phase clinical trials.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized medical degree and a valid Alberta medical practice permit.
  • Completed clinical training in medical oncology (preferably within 5 years).
  • Clear research aims that they want to further develop with the resources available in Calgary.
