Job Description

HireTalent is seeking a highly skilled Senior Voice Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Cisco Voice infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Level 3 Support: Provide advanced technical support for our Callmanager, Unity Voicemail, and Unified CallCenter Express systems.
  • System Upgrades: Participate in the planning, upgrading, and testing of our voice systems to ensure seamless transitions.
  • System Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot complex issues with our voice systems and collaborate with the vendor, Cisco, to resolve issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of our voice systems and processes.
  • Cisco Video Server Configuration: Configure and maintain our Cisco video servers, including VCS and Expressway.
Preferred Skills
  • Oracle Session Border Controller: Experience with the configuration and operation/maintenance of Oracle Session Border Controller.
  • Oracle Enterprise Communication Broker: Experience with the configuration and operation/maintenance of Oracle Enterprise Communication Broker.
  • Oracle Enterprise Operations Monitor: Experience with the configuration and operation/maintenance of Oracle Enterprise Operations Monitor.
  • PSTN Telephone Integration: Experience with the integration of PSTN telephone with TEAMS.
  • Vitec IPTV Solution: Experience with the configuration and operation/maintenance of Vitec IPTV solution.
Key Competencies
  • Strong Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Technical Expertise: At least 5 years of experience as a level 3 engineer in Cisco Voice products.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements
  • Cisco Voice Infrastructure: In-depth knowledge of Cisco Voice infrastructure, including Voice Gateways.
  • Cisco Callmanager: In-depth knowledge of Cisco Callmanager, especially version 12 and above.
  • Unity and UCCx: Good working knowledge of Unity and UCCx.
  • Oracle Client and ECB: Working knowledge of Oracle Client and ECB.
  • Cisco Video Servers: Working knowledge of Cisco Video servers, including VCS and Expressway, and Cisco Video endpoints.
