Property Management Director

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Management Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of both residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the property management team, ensuring the effective management of properties and the delivery of exceptional customer service.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize property performance, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Oversee the leasing, market research, maintenance, budgeting, and compliance activities for assigned properties.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement standard operating procedures, aligning with business growth objectives.
- Lead and manage employee staffing, development, and retention strategies, fostering a positive work environment.
- Facilitate departmental training, including education on legislation revisions, to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Negotiate operational/service contracts and monitor compliance, ensuring seamless relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Establish guidelines to maximize customer service, efficiency, and effectiveness, driving business growth and success.
- Provide on-site back-up coverage and on-call, after-hours duties as required.
- Post-secondary degree in a relevant field, such as real estate, business administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of property management experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proficiency in Yardi Voyageur or similar property management software.
- Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with a strong working knowledge of financial reporting, budget planning, and forecasting.
- Solid strategic problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and prioritize competing demands.
- Certified Property Management (CPM) or Real Property Administration (RPA) certification is an asset.
TalentSphere Staffing Solutions offers a competitive base pay, variable pay, annual merit pay increases, paid vacation, a comprehensive benefit plan, a matching RRSP plan, a general education and training program, and much more. The base salary range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000, depending on candidate experience and qualifications.
