Job Summary

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Management Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of both residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the property management team, ensuring the effective management of properties and the delivery of exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize property performance, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Oversee the leasing, market research, maintenance, budgeting, and compliance functions for assigned properties.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement standard operating procedures, aligning with business growth objectives.
  • Lead and manage employee staffing, development, and retention strategies, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Facilitate departmental training, including education on legislation revisions, to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Negotiate operational/service contracts and monitor compliance, ensuring seamless relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Establish guidelines to maximize customer service, efficiency, and effectiveness, driving business growth and success.
  • Provide on-site back-up coverage and on-call, after-hours duties as required.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in a relevant field, such as real estate, business administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of property management experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proficiency in Yardi Voyageur and MS Office, with a strong working knowledge of financial reporting, budget planning, and forecasting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and prioritize competing demands.
  • Certified Property Management (CPM) or Real Property Administration (RPA) certification is an asset.
