About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Safety and Environmental Advisor to join our Health, Safety and Environment Branch at the National Research Council of Canada.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of experts in research and innovation. As a Safety and Environmental Advisor, you will provide guidance and support to our clients on occupational health, safety, and environmental matters.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have significant experience providing advice and support on HSE-related regulations, policies, and programs in multi-faceted work operations. You will also have strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to interpret applicable legislation and provide concise written or oral briefings.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide guidance and support to clients on HSE-related matters
  2. Conduct risk assessments and prepare safe work procedures
  3. Participate in investigations following incidents and accidents
  4. Assist with the implementation of HSE programs
