Fraser Health Authority is seeking a Nurse Educator to lead our Cardiac Stepdown Program at Royal Columbian Hospital.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced registered nurse with a passion for teaching and leadership. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will be responsible for developing and delivering educational programs that meet the needs of our nursing staff. Your expertise in cardiac care and ability to establish effective learning relationships will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Determining education priorities and creating supportive learning environments
  • Developing and revising educational programs based on clinical evidence and best practices
  • Delivering learner-centered education through various methods, including presentations, mentoring, and coaching
  • Evaluating program effectiveness and making recommendations for improvement

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Three years of recent related clinical experience in the designated clinical area, including one year of education and/or leadership experience
  • Valid BC Driver's License and access to personal vehicle for business-related purposes

The estimated salary range for this position is $62,000 - $83,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience.
