Your Role

As a Member Advice Specialist, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and helping our members achieve their financial goals. You will work closely with your team to ensure all checks and balances are completed around policies and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver positive and unexpected customer experiences through general retail banking.
  • Engage customers in the 'Where You Are At Money Chat' to help them save, grow, protect, and improve their financial well-being.
  • Work as a high-performing team member within the branch to ensure all checks and balances are completed around policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Proactively and creatively offer helpful solutions and alternatives to customer inquiries.
  • Earn recognition for achieving sales and referrals targets in a needs-based sales environment.

Your Qualifications

  • You have a minimum three years of experience helping members in a bank or credit union, preferably where you mastered lending and investments.
  • You have a Certificate in Investment Funds in Canada and are excited to share what you've learned during your post-secondary education in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • You enjoy building relationships with a wide variety of people and want to help them with simple financial help.
  • You are a big fan of teamwork and demonstrate your team spirit every day.
  • You are a multi-tasking prodigy, able to efficiently and effectively prioritize and organize what needs to get done coupled with a high attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits

Our estimated salary range is $60,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a pension plan and RRSP matching contributions.
