At NATIONAL Public Relations Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Marketing Consultant to join our Atlantic team.

This role provides the chance to lead key client files, manage day-to-day accounts, and develop strategies for integrated communications campaigns and brands.

  • 5-10 years of experience in a marketing role.
  • Familiarity with the Atlantic Canadian tourism industry is an asset.
  • Ability to develop communication plans and/or programs, with broad knowledge of branding principles, paid media strategies, and other marketing fundamentals.
  • Experience working with Indigenous organizations and communities is an asset.

The ideal candidate is curious, collaborative, accountable, detail-oriented, and passionate about marketing. They should have a strong understanding of branding principles, paid media strategies, and other marketing fundamentals.

As a Sr. Marketing Consultant, you will:

  1. Lead key client files and ensure that client's needs and expectations are understood and managed.
  2. Manage day-to-day accounts, from mandate definition to budget development and through to invoicing, ensuring timely delivery to client deadlines.
  3. Develop strategies as required, including marketing communications strategies, brand strategies, campaign strategies, and creative briefs, and provide senior-level client counsel.
  4. Work collaboratively with public affairs, digital, creative, and research colleagues to support the development of integrated communications strategies, campaigns, and brands.
  5. Work with the data and insights team to conduct research and report, measure, and optimize the success of integrated campaigns, communications strategies, and tactical plans.
  6. Manage complex projects and programs and propose solutions for any client service problems that may arise.
  7. Ensure quality control for finished product delivery.
  8. Set and manage budgets, as well as prepare invoices and budget control reports.

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000-$110,000 annually, depending on experience.
