Job Title: General Practitioner in Oncology

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate General Practitioner in Oncology to join our team at BC Cancer – Surrey. As a General Practitioner in Oncology, you will work collaboratively with Radiation Oncologists and other medical specialists, nurses, radiation therapists, and clerical staff in an interdisciplinary working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ambulatory care to patients on therapy and in follow-up
  • Work collaboratively with Radiation Oncologists and other medical specialists
  • Develop and maintain expertise in radiation oncology
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care planning

Requirements:

  • License to practice as a family physician in British Columbia
  • Appointment as a member of the medical staff of the BC Cancer Agency and Surrey Memorial Hospital
  • Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada
  • Knowledge of social, economic, political, and historical realities impacting Indigenous communities
