Position Overview
We are seeking a General Practitioner specializing in Oncology to become a part of our dedicated team at PHSA. This role is designed for a part-time commitment within the Radiation Oncology Department, where you will engage in collaborative efforts with a team of medical professionals, including specialists and nursing staff, to deliver exceptional outpatient care to patients undergoing therapy and follow-up.
Primary Duties
- Deliver care in outpatient clinic settings
- Collaborate closely with Radiation Oncologists
- Engage in multidisciplinary teamwork to enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a valid license to practice as a family physician in British Columbia. While prior experience in radiation oncology is not mandatory, we are committed to providing comprehensive training and support. A strong dedication to reconciliation in Canada and an understanding of Indigenous Cultural Safety are essential attributes for candidates.
