Position Overview
We are seeking a General Practitioner specializing in Oncology to become a vital member of our team at PHSA. This role is part-time within the Radiation Oncology Department, focusing on providing exceptional outpatient care. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical specialists and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive care for patients undergoing therapy and follow-up.
Primary Duties
- Deliver outpatient services in ambulatory settings
- Collaborate closely with Radiation Oncologists
- Engage in interdisciplinary teamwork to enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a valid license to practice as a family physician in British Columbia. While prior experience in radiation oncology is not mandatory, we offer training support for new candidates. A commitment to reconciliation and an understanding of Indigenous Cultural Safety are essential attributes for this role.
