Delivery Drivers Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Delivery Drivers Supervisor to join our team at 2585335 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our delivery drivers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Delivery Drivers: Oversee the daily activities of our delivery drivers, ensuring they are aware of their routes, schedules, and delivery requirements.
- Monitor and Improve Delivery Performance: Analyze delivery data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Train and Develop Team Members: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to delivery drivers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Manage Inventory and Supplies: Oversee the inventory of goods and supplies, ensuring that they are properly stored, handled, and distributed to meet customer demands.
- Ensure Health and Safety Regulations: Ensure that all delivery drivers adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper vehicle maintenance, safe driving practices, and adherence to company policies.
- Coordinate Repairs and Rentals: Arrange for repairs and rentals of vehicles as needed, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal fleet utilization.
- Requisition and Order Materials: Procure and order materials, equipment, and supplies as required to support delivery operations.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in logistics or transportation.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Conditions: Ability to work under pressure, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, and team player.
- Work Schedule: 32 to 40 hours per week.
- Language of Work: English.
