Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Delivery Drivers Supervisor to join our team at Flite Transport Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our delivery drivers and ensuring the smooth execution of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise a team of 3-4 delivery drivers and provide guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance targets.
  • Logistics and Operations
    • Coordinate and schedule delivery activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
    • Monitor and report on delivery performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of logistics operations with other business functions.
  • Training and Development
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of delivery drivers.
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to help drivers improve their performance and achieve their goals.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all delivery drivers adhere to health and safety regulations and protocols.
    • Investigate and report on any incidents or accidents, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Personnel Management
    • Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures.
    • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support logistics operations.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in logistics or transportation
  • Language
    • Fluent in English
  • Work Hours
    • 35 to 40 hours per week
