Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Drivers Supervisor to join our team at 2585335 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit comprehensive production reports to management.
    • Conduct thorough analysis of operational data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Team Supervision
    • Supervise and mentor a team of 5-10 delivery drivers to ensure seamless execution of daily operations.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Inventory Management
    • Coordinate the requisition and ordering of materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
    • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to meet customer demands.
  • Health and Safety
    • Develop and implement health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
  • Personnel Management
    • Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures, to management.
    • Collaborate with HR to develop and implement training programs for team members.
  • Transportation and Logistics
    • Coordinate the scheduling and dispatch of delivery drivers to ensure efficient use of resources.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve transportation efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
    • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Language and Communication
    • Excellent oral communication skills in English.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
    • Team player with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
