Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit comprehensive production and operational reports to management.
  • Team Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 5-10 delivery drivers and logistics personnel.
  • Training and Development
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of delivery drivers and logistics personnel.
  • Operations Coordination
    • Coordinate and schedule delivery routes and logistics operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Personnel Management
    • Recommend personnel actions, including hiring, training, and disciplinary measures, to management.
  • Logistics and Supply Chain
    • Coordinate the requisition and ordering of materials, equipment, and supplies to support logistics operations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field, such as logistics, transportation, or business administration.
    • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in logistics or transportation.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Class 5/5F/G driver's license.
    • Basic security clearance.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Organized and flexible with a strong attention to detail.
    • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
