    • Collaborate with key partners in portfolio management & governance, project management, delivery, and change management to ensure alignment and integration into other governance frameworks such as the solution delivery lifecycle (SDLC).
    • Cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, risk, dev/engineering) collaborate with you to integrate governance requirements into the product development lifecycle.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product performance.
    • Leverage the product operations team and other partners to consolidate and analyze data from various sources, including product usage data, client feedback, market research, and financial reports.

    • Provide financial insights to product managers and leadership to support strategic decision-making.
    • Identify areas for efficiency and improvement, and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize product practices, operations, and cost optimization.
  • Financial Health:
    • Help manage the overall product portfolio budget, including costs related to operating, maintaining, and enhancing products.
    • Analyze product-related financial data and variances, including burn rates, costs-per-user, and licensing costs.
    • Collaborate with product managers to estimate costs, track spending, and analyze variances at the product portfolio level.
    • Generate regular financial reports and dashboards to track product performance, budget adherence, and key financial metrics.
    • Prepare budget presentations and reports for leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Communicate effectively with product managers, leadership, and other stakeholders to provide updates on performance and governance matters.
    • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment on reporting requirements and governance practices.
    • Work closely with product managers to understand product roadmaps, development plans, and resource requirements.
    • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure alignment and increase knowledge on budgeting processes, financial reporting, and accounting practices.
    • Communicate financial information clearly and concisely to product managers, finance teams, and other stakeholders.
    • Explain financial concepts and analysis in a way that's understandable to non-financial audiences.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Continuously evaluate and improve reporting processes and governance frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Stay informed of industry best practices and emerging trends that impact client experience and the product management practice.
