Job Description

**Regional Director of Event Sales and Operations**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Director of Event Sales and Operations to join our team at Oliver & Bonacini Hospitality. As a key member of our sales and operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of event specialists, executing sales strategies, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a Team of Event Specialists: Support, coach, and motivate a team of event planning professionals to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Execute Sales Strategies: Develop and execute aggressive sales plans to meet annual sales goals and targets.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expand existing client relationships, and develop strategic partnerships.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with operations, business ops, and marketing to develop and implement menu strategies that drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Event Planning: Work closely with clients to plan and execute events that exceed their expectations.
  • Forecasting and Planning: Use company tools and methodologies to forecast sales, plan events, and manage budgets.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Monitor guest reactions and feedback to identify opportunities to improve the guest experience and ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of event specialists, provide coaching and training, and develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate the vision and goals of the business unit to the team, rally their efforts, and achieve results.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive business growth and revenue.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in event sales and operations, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and leading a team.
  • Language: Advanced written and spoken French.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team, coach on selling, and work without direct supervision.
  • Financial Acumen: Sound financial knowledge and ability to manage budgets.
  • Menu Development: Knowledge of menu development and event planning.
  • Time Management: Ability to effectively and efficiently meet deadlines.
  • Client Relationships: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
