About the Role
Fraser Health is seeking a skilled Medical Office Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our Maxxine Wright Centre, you will provide administrative support to our patients and staff, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Job Summary
We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing reception services, including operating a multi-line switchboard, registering new patients, booking appointments, and managing client records.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care and support
- Manage front desk operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and greeting clients
- Coordinate with clinicians to ensure efficient delivery of services
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and charts
- Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry, typing, and filing
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations

Requirements
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Medical Office Assistant diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of recent related office/clerical experience or equivalent combination of education and training
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
