About the Role:
The University of Alberta Hospital, one of Canada's leading clinical, research and teaching hospitals, is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. This position will provide clinical professional practice in a collaborative environment, with opportunities for growth and development.
About the Team:
You will work alongside experienced healthcare professionals to provide prevention, health promotion, identification, assessment, intervention, and case management services to patients/clients. Your leadership skills will aid in supervising students and providing clinical guidance to other staff as appropriate.
About You:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP) certification
- Recent adult inpatient acute care experience within Alberta
- Independent and proficient with clinical and instrumental (VFSS) swallowing assessments
