About the Role

Fission Logistics Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, ensuring smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arranging for maintenance and repair work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating Activities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of computer equipment and machinery to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to meet business needs and prevent stockouts.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management on logistics operations, including metrics on efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of logistics professionals to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in logistics, operations, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as other logistics software and systems.
