RDM Logistics Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of our logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities- Dispatch and Coordination: Coordinate the activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Time Sheet Management: Ensure accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll, and other summaries.
- Personnel Management: Monitor personnel workloads and locations, and dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders.
- Emergency Response: Respond to urgent calls from individuals who find themselves in life-threatening situations and require assistance.
- Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices, as well as highway trucking and associated rules and regulations.
- Technology and Data Management: Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment, and record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience is an asset.
- Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in dispatch management service software, monitoring and tracking software, electronic mail, GPS, and internet.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, organized, and a team player.
