Fission Logistics Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and ensuring the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, including arranging for maintenance and repair work as needed
  • Recruit and hire staff to support the logistics team
  • Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner
  • Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff as needed
  • Conduct performance reviews to ensure team members are meeting expectations
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion and high quality results
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate tracking and reporting
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in logistics or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Client focus and excellent customer service skills
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team
