Job Title: Veterinary Receptionist, Technician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Veterinary Receptionist, Technician Assistant to join our team at Tuscany Veterinary Hospital in Calgary, AB.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a welcoming environment for our patients and pet parents
  • Assist veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments
  • Answer phone calls and track appointments
  • Place outbound calls to pet parents for follow-up and future appointments
  • Manage email correspondence with clients, referring veterinarians, and internal office messages
  • Admit and discharge pet patients, including grooming clients
  • Invoice and bill clients, creating estimates and processing payments
  • Schedule appointments
  • Stay up-to-date on pet nutrition and wellness, and assist clients in finding the right diet for their pets
  • Provide excellent customer service and put people at ease
  • Organize and maintain a clean and organized reception area, pet holding areas, and common areas
