Tuscany Veterinary Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Veterinary Receptionist, Technician Assistant to join our team. Your primary responsibility is to ensure our clients and their pets feel welcomed and expertly cared for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a warm and welcoming environment for our patients and pet parents
  • Assist veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments when required
  • Answer a multiline phone system and track and book appointments effectively
  • Place outbound calls to pet parents for follow-up and future appointment bookings
  • Respond to and manage email correspondence; clients, referring veterinarians & internal office messages
  • Admit and discharge pet patients, including Grooming clients
  • Invoice and bill; create estimates, obtain pet owner confirmation and process payments
  • Schedule appointments
  • Stay up-to-date on pet nutrition and wellness, and help clients find the right diet for their pet
  • Provide excellent customer service skills; put people at ease and create a welcoming environment
  • Organize and maintain a clean and efficient reception area, pet holding areas, and common areas
