We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Veterinary Receptionist at Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency Centre. This is an exceptional opportunity to provide exceptional client care and support to our clients and their pets.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their pets
- Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, admitting and discharging patients, and processing payments
- Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and medical histories
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry and filing
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on medical terminology and hospital procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a veterinary or medical setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
