Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency Centre. As a key member of our client care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients and their pets.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their pets
  • Manage front desk operations, including scheduling, billing, and client communication
  • Assist with medical procedures and exams as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and veterinary staff

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service and administrative duties
  • Prior knowledge or ability to learn medical terminology
  • Exceptional client service skills and a nurturing attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility with rotation overnight schedule
  • Previous veterinary experience or graduated from an accredited Veterinary Assistant program is preferred
