Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency Centre. As a key member of our client care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients and their pets.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their pets
  • Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and handling client inquiries
  • Process payments and handle cash transactions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
  • Assist with medical procedures and provide support to veterinarians and veterinary technicians
  • Develop and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with clients, veterinarians, and other staff members

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service and administrative duties
  • Prior knowledge of medical terminology or ability to learn
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
