Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Coordinator, Airline Client Relations to join our team at the Vancouver Airport Authority. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison for airlines and ground handlers, ensuring excellent client service and acting as the main point of contact for non-operational inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise daily with airlines and ground handlers to ensure positive partnerships and address non-operational issues.
  • Facilitate Terminal Working Group Meetings and exchange information among business partners.
  • Participate in the creation and management of the Airline and Business Partner Cross-Departmental Database.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create and maintain Terminal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for airline operations.
  • Support the onboarding of new airlines at YVR, ensuring all start-up requirements are met.
  • Represent airline interests and support partnerships through cross-functional projects and facility tours.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of five years' experience in aviation transportation or professional customer service roles, supplemented by a two-year diploma or certificate from a technical or community college.
  • Knowledge of aviation facilities and airline operations is an asset.
  • Proven relationship skills, including the ability to organize and facilitate effective communication between multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to think creatively and work with ambiguity.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 programs, including SharePoint.
