Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and culturally sensitive Quality Care Liaison to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in coordinating feedback and improving client/patient care across various health services, including acute care, residential services, mental health, public health, home health services, and community systems.

About the Role

As the Quality Care Liaison, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing culturally unique support to First Nations individuals and families
  • Coordinating feedback and improving client/patient care
  • Developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to improve patient safety and outcomes

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in social sciences, health, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of recent experience working with First Nations organizations and communities, preferably in the Vancouver Coastal Region
  • Training in patient safety investigation and quality improvement, cultural safety, or trauma-informed care
