Crawford & Company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Bilingual Property Claims Adjuster to join our team in Montreal, Quebec. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing property damage claims and negotiating settlements in accordance with provincial licensing requirements.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct thorough loss investigations to determine the extent of property damage and negotiate settlements with clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless claim resolution.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure compliance and excellence in claim handling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring efficient and effective claim resolution.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders on complex claims and risk management strategies.
**Requirements:**
- 10+ years of experience in handling large, complex, and commercial property claims.
- Post-secondary education in an insurance-related field or equivalent experience.
- AMF License (personal and commercial lines) and Xactimate and XactAnalysis certification.
- Bilingual (English and French) with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment with a focus on customer service.
