**Job Summary**
Crawford & Company is seeking a highly skilled Claims Adjuster to join our team in Montreal, Quebec. As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for assessing property damage claims and negotiating settlements in accordance with provincial licensing requirements.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct thorough loss investigations to determine the extent of property damage and liability.
- Negotiate settlements with policyholders and other stakeholders to resolve claims efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with provincial licensing requirements and company policies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to improve claims handling and resolution.
**Requirements:**
- Bilingual (English and French) with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- AMF License (personal and commercial lines) or working towards.
- At least 5 years of experience handling personal and commercial property claims.
- Post-secondary education in an insurance-related field or equivalent experience.
- CIP accredited or in the process of obtaining CIP accreditation.
- Working knowledge of Xactimate and XactAnalysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
