About the Role

Curo Claims Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Claims Adjuster to join our team. As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving property insurance claims in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and assess property damage claims, gathering information from insured members, civil authorities, police, witnesses, and other insurers.
  • Review and analyze policy coverage, contractual agreements, and technical reports to determine claim liability and quantum.
  • Communicate with insured members, contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective claim resolution.
  • Prepare and issue payment to vendors, insureds, and experts, maintaining accurate records and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with team members and management to achieve business objectives and improve work efficiencies.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education and/or college diploma in a related field.
  • CIP designation or working towards designation.
  • Provincial adjusters license; ability to acquire same.
  • 2+ years' experience in property insurance claims adjusting.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Current Microsoft Office working knowledge.
