Job Description

In this exciting role as a Commercial Lines Service Support Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional support to underwriters and underwriting assistants in the Toronto office. Your primary tasks will include:

  • Triaging and processing large commercial submissions, declinatures, and risk analysis reports in collaboration with underwriters.
  • Providing letters of experience, insurance binders, and other documents on behalf of underwriters.
  • Responding to internal, external, and broker service requests professionally and promptly.
  • Data entry in RTM and SFDC systems, updating automated and manual tracking documents.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A post-secondary education, including a degree or diploma, complemented by relevant office experience.
  • At least 2 years' experience in an administrative and support function with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent technical aptitude with web and DOS-based systems and databases.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Teams, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and OneNote.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, capable of communicating at all levels (internal and external partners).
  • Proficiency in both English and French is an asset.
