**Job Summary**

We seek a seasoned Relationship Manager to join our team. As a trusted advisor and sales professional, you will be responsible for establishing and nurturing connections with valued partners, stakeholders, and advisors in retaining and attracting core banking relationships.

You will manage a portfolio of treasury management intensive companies, partnering with controllers, CEOs, CFOs, treasurers, and business owners to understand their business requirements and present payment, cash management, and investment solutions that meet their needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the drivers of business cash flow and the ability to apply basic principles of effective cash flow management. You will be able to analyze financial data, identify opportunities to support the payment ecosystem of clients, and build collaborative relationships both virtually and in person.

**Responsibilities**

  • Establish and nurture connections with valued partners, stakeholders, and advisors to retain and attract core banking relationships.
  • Manage a portfolio of treasury management intensive companies, partnering with controllers, CEOs, CFOs, treasurers, and business owners to understand their business requirements and present payment, cash management, and investment solutions.
  • Analyze financial data to identify opportunities to support the payment ecosystem of clients.
  • Build collaborative relationships with clients, including virtual and in-person interactions.
  • Effectively manage operational, regulatory, and credit risk to ensure ATB Financial's risk tolerance is adhered to.
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner.

**Requirements**

  • Post-secondary education in business, agriculture, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in retail or corporate banking.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and meet established targets.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing financial data and identifying opportunities to support the payment ecosystem of clients.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the drivers of business cash flow and the ability to apply basic principles of effective cash flow management.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to evaluate the attractiveness of new business opportunities.
  • Broad-based business knowledge and acumen.
  • Strong time management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and establish priorities.
