Job Title: Engineering Sales Representative

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading HVAC manufacturer and distributor to find a skilled Engineering Sales Representative for their Victoria branch.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineering Sales Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems and be able to develop and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders to grow sales and expand market share.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, architects, contractors, developers, and owners to grow sales and expand market share.
  • Maintain a presence in the engineering community to have products specified or listed as an equal on all projects.
  • Understand client needs and provide appropriate technical solutions to achieve satisfaction and design intent.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry and local codes and regulations, as well as market trends, to ensure compliance and identify opportunities.
  • Provide outstanding customer service with a customer-first approach.
  • Continuously learn and grow, self-educate, and attend manufacturer's factory/training visits to stay current on the latest product developments and software tools.
  • Build sustainable customer relationships and trust through open communication.
  • Cross-train on mechanical and air-side products to identify opportunities for other products.
  • Participate in ASHRAE meetings and attend industry-related events as required.
  • Assist with planning and implementing new product introductions to the market.
  • Attend divisional and office meetings, as well as customer events as required.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering with excellent knowledge of HVAC systems.
  • University degree or College diploma in Mechanical Engineering specialization required.
  • Holding a Professional Engineer designation (PEng) is an asset.
  • Ability to read Architectural and Mechanical drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, listening, and written presentation.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and resourceful with the ability to work under pressure unsupervised.
  • Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit and innovative mind.
  • Strong work ethic guided by personal integrity and mutual respect.
