About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Director to lead our Veterinary Division at Connect Pet Expo. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive business growth and meet our objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives.
  2. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive business growth, including category-specific plans and digital services plans.
  3. Marketing Asset Management: Oversee the development and deployment of marketing assets, including promotional calendars, to drive sales and revenue growth.
  4. Operational Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set annual plans and deliver financial metrics, including net sales and earnings.
  5. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to inform marketing strategies and drive revenue growth.
  6. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of marketing materials and processes, and participate in internal and external audits.
Requirements
  1. University Degree: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  2. Marketing Experience: 8+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on the veterinary industry.
  3. Leadership Experience: 5+ years of leadership experience, with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  4. Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the veterinary industry, including veterinary distributor structures and market trends.
  5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
