Market Insights Manager

The Market Insights Manager will utilize market and category intelligence to aid in the formulation of our strategic objectives.
In this role, collaboration with external partners (key clients, suppliers, data analytics firms, etc.) will be essential to support the overall business in addressing both present and future requirements.
Internally, this individual will engage with the sales team and various departments to facilitate the assessment and execution of diverse initiatives.
Qualifications:University Degree or College diploma in a relevant field.
~3+ years of experience working with syndicated data (e.g., ImpactVet/Nielsen/Animalytix) in developing templates and conducting analyses.
~ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Intermediate/Advanced).
~ Sales experience is advantageous.
~ Background in Data Science or Data Analytics is beneficial.
~ Experience in the veterinary field is a plus.
Sales Strategy:
Implement a comprehensive approach to gather and utilize pertinent market and competitive insights to inform decision-making.
Continuous analysis of category trends. Support the category account scorecard process and its implementation.
Assist in crafting compelling narratives to drive Trade Marketing initiatives and/or category growth strategies.
Conduct pre- and post-campaign evaluations to assess ROI and the effectiveness of significant category growth programs (e.g., customer segmentation).
Incorporate insights from Category Analysis into critical phases of the Planning process (e.g., leverage well-defined KPIs and ROI assessments to evaluate and adjust strategies as necessary).
Ensure optimal assortment through data and category insights.
Data Management:
Oversee relationships with data providers to guarantee that business requirements are fulfilled and maintain a high level of data integrity.
Responsible for acquiring expertise in sourcing, capturing, and reporting on external metrics that serve as key indicators of both historical and future performance trends affecting the veterinary sector.
Collaborate with internal and external resources to manage data consistently as business needs evolve, delivering timely and thoroughly validated reports to key stakeholders with regular frequency.Quality Assurance:
Comply with relevant Quality and Food Safety Policies and Quality Management System standards to ensure adherence to MARS guidelines.
