Blue Shock Executive Search is seeking a seasoned Restaurant General Manager to lead our client's premium casual dining operation to new heights. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for driving excellence in every aspect of hospitality success, including top-line revenues, exceptional service standards, high-quality products, and superior profit management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Chef to establish and direct performance standards in the kitchen, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Monitor, direct, and coordinate restaurant operations, including R&M, to maintain a timeless environment.
  • Develop and implement beverage concepts, ensuring quality, presentation, and service excellence.
  • Produce approved budgets and operate within established guidelines, ensuring financial goals are met.
  • Recruit, train, develop, and mentor management team members, including the Chef.
  • Direct involvement in disciplinary action and performance management of management team members.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure excellence in all areas.
  • Oversee the development of management and crew, ensuring strong training and high-level profitability.
  • Prepare financial and operational weekly reporting, analyzing variances and ensuring practices meet or exceed yearly financial targets.
  • Evaluate training procedures to ensure a high level of guest experience.
  • Champion recognition and motivation efforts to meet the goal of being the employer of choice in the restaurant industry.
  • Contribute to long-term planning and project management of multiple programs and priorities.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of operational success as a Restaurant General Manager, with proven financial management and knowledge of operational systems. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong work ethic. Ability to multitask, travel extensively, and maintain positive relationships with the team, community, and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

College or university business degree in hospitality, restaurants, and culinary arts, or equivalent business education background.
