Employment Services Coordinator

Georgian College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employment Services Coordinator to join our Career and Employment Community Services team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day implementation and operation of our employment programs and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and administer human, financial, and physical resources of employment programs and services.
- Work closely with the Career and Employment Community Services Leadership Team to ensure delivery consistency across the department, college-wide, provincially, and federally.
- Liaise with clients, staff, funders, community partners, and other administrative and academic departments to maximize innovation and efficiency in program and services operations.
- Directly support a team of Employment Services Consultants under multiple agreements to deliver effective employment services and programs.
- Coach staff to develop and deliver client success stories to effectively promote programs and services.
- Accurately manage financial agreements, including tracking expenditures to ensure program objectives are met.
- Complete monthly narratives on programs and services overseen as required by agreements and ad-hoc when requested by funders or Manager/Director.
- Act as a subject matter expert and coach in Career Counselling, Job Search Theory and Practice, Building Trusting Relationships, and Assessment Component of Employment Counselling.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of a marketing, promotional, and outreach plan to support community participant recruitment.
- Participate in local and regional economic development planning committees as well as community partnership groups.
- Successfully completed a 3-year degree or diploma in Human Services, Career Development Practitioner, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years related experience in the supervision/management of Community Based Services, Student Services, or Employment Services.
- Strong community leadership skills.
- Experience with financial management and budget management skills.
- Strong influencing, persuasion, and collaboration skills.
- Intermediate level computer skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and other related software systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
