Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet our high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Permanent position with a 35-hour workweek.
  • English language proficiency required.
