Assistant General Manager, Loss Prevention Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Loss Prevention Manager to join our team at London Drugs Limited. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective loss prevention strategies to protect our assets and ensure a safe and secure shopping environment for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive loss prevention plans to reduce losses and protect company assets.
- Lead a team of loss prevention professionals to investigate and resolve incidents, and provide training and guidance on loss prevention best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and develop strategies to prevent and respond to security incidents.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in loss prevention, and apply this knowledge to improve our security protocols and procedures.
- Manage and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and other security professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement effective security protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and security of our employees, customers, and assets.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address these areas.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on loss prevention best practices and security protocols.
- Extensive experience in loss prevention and security management, preferably in a retail environment.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective loss prevention strategies and reducing losses.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of loss prevention professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. business, security, law enforcement) an asset.
